This statistic shows the preferred television content in Italy in 2017, ranked by type. According to survey results, 77.2 percent of respondents expressed a preference for movies, while 69.4 percent of them rather preferred TV series. Moreover, 42.9 percent of interviewed liked to watch football, while only 38.1 percent preferred contents about motor sports.
