Domestic consumption of broiler meat in South Africa 2013-2021
Since 2013, the domestic consumption of broiler meat in South Africa has generally been increasing each year. In 2013, about 1.56 million metric tons of broiler meat were consumed domestically. This increased by over 20 percent, exceeding 1.89 million metric tons in 2020.
