In 2023, JBS was the leading company in the food and beverage sector in Brazil, with a net revenue of close to 364 billion Brazilian reals. Ambev, a Brazilian beverage company, ranked third that year, with a net revenue of 79.7 billion reals.

JBS is one of the largest meat processing companies in the world. Headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, it generates a considerable amount of its revenue from its sales in the United States. In 2022, the company’s gross profit reached a value of more than 59 billion Brazilian reals, and the number of employess surpassed 256 thousand people worldwide.
