When asked whether they believed transgender people should be allowed to undergo sex reassignment surgery (SRS), 20 percent of the respondents taking part in the Ipsos survey said they strongly agreed with the statement. On the other hand, only four percent of the respondents in Japan reported to strongly disagree.
