The number of enterprises in the soft drinks manufacturing industry in Turkey increased by nine enterprises (+2.37 percent) since the previous year. This was the first time during the observed period that the number of enterprises in this industry has increased in Turkey. Over the observed period, the number of enterprises has been subject to fluctuation. In accordance with EU REGULATION (EC) No 250/2009 only companies are included here which were active during at least a part of the reference period. It also includes local units (branches) which do not constitute a separate legal entity and which are dependent on foreign enterprises.

Structural business statistics (SBS) describes the structure, conduct and performance of economic activities, down to the most detailed activity level (several hundred economic sectors). Data coverage corresponds to Section C1107 of CE Rev 2.
