Net worth, which is often referred to as wealth, is the value of a household's assets less the value of its liabilities.
The terms decile, percentile, and quintile are used if a distribution, such as household income, is put in order from lowest to highest, and then divided into 100 equal groups, each group is a percentile. Ten percentiles make up a decile (ten equal groups) and twenty percentiles make up a quintile.
