From 2014 to 2019, the number of overnight stays of Italian tourists increased. In 2010, Italian tourists recorded approximately 365.7 million overnight stays among domestic and outbound trips. In 2018, this figure rose to roughly 411.1 million overnight stays. However, the number of overnight stays peaked in 2018 (433.2 million). Thus, this figure slightly decreased from 2018 to 2019.
