Online account security priorities worldwide 2017
This statistic displays the account protection priorities of selected online app or account types according to internet users worldwide in 2017. During the survey period, 76 percent of survey respondents ranked security as top priority over privacy or convenience in bank apps. Only 34 percent of respondents thought the same for social media apps, where convenience was ranked first.
