Opinions on legal drinking age for beer and wine in Finland 2024
According to the 2023 survey, 93 percent of Finns considered the legal drinking age (18 years) appropriate. The age limit is 18 years for buying alcoholic beverages containing at most 22 percent alcohol in Finland. Only one percent of the respondents said that the age limit is too high, while six percent considered it too low.
