Wi-Fi hotspot user penetration Japan 2017, by age group
This statistic presents the results of an online survey conducted in 2017 about the user penetration of public Wi-Fi hotspots among smartphone users in Japan, based on age group. The survey revealed that smartphone users aged 11 to 19 years showed with almost 85 percent the highest hotspot penetration in Japan. An average of 69.4 percent of Japanese have used public Wi-Fi hotspots as of the measured time period.
