Between the years of 2013 and 2024, 14.7 percent of artists nominated for Grammy awards were female, and 85.3 percent were male. The share of nominated women in 2024 came close to the one in 2021 again, reaching 24 percent. The 2021 number, however, took the share of men nominated for a Grammy below 75 percent for the first time since the source began investigating gender distribution in the industry.
