Italy: smartphone & internet usage 2013-2017
The statistic shows the smartphone and internet usage among population aged 16 years and older in the years 2013 and 2017. According to survey results, in 2013 only 37 percent of users used their smartphones to go online, while 84 percent declared to have such a habit in 2017. If smartphone usage overall increased in the considered time period, the overall internet usage increased quite slightly, going from 76 to 88 percent.
