TV news reach in the United States 2023, by age group

According to data gathered in late 2023, 85 percent of adults aged 65 years or over watched news on TV at least sometimes, more than double the share of adults under 30 who did the same. Older news consumers were more likely to turn to print and TV than their younger counterparts, although also increased their news consumption via podcasts.
