This statistic illustrates of how U.S. citizens across generational groups are aware in terms of being able to report public safety issues to their local government agencies via digital technologies in 2016. During the surveyed period, reporting a safety concern such as a downed power line or sinkhole was the most digitally aware reported issue amongst all generational groups. For Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers, they had a reported awareness outcome of 44 percent, 48 percent, and 44 percent respectively.
