In 2007, the per capita expenditure on out-of-home food was nearly 1,150 euros. By 2014, this had decreased to roughly 1,000 euros, but after 2014 the per capita spending on out-of-home food increased again. By 2017, the per capita expenditure was estimated to be around 1,200 euros, the highest amount in the period surveyed.
