According to a survey conducted in September 2022, Italian citizens held an overall positive opinion about the way hospitals handled COVID-19 patients during the first nine months of 2022. Citizens were particularly satisfied with public hospitals, which reacted promptly to the emergency according to 42.6 percent of the respondents.
