This chart displays the organic food retail sales by retail type in Italy in 2016. The figures showed how channels different from the traditional retail ones generated most of the organic food sales reaching over 865 million euros in 2016. Accordingly, supermarkets generated nearly 593 million euros and hypermarkets generated 443 million euros. Lastly, discounts contributed for 86 million euros.
