Over this period, the mean temperature in that month has fluctuated greatly in all cities. In May 2018, the capital Oslo reported an average temperature of 16.1 degrees Celsius. The average temperature in Bergen was 14.7 degrees Celsius, while in Tromsø on average 8.1 degrees and in Longyearbyen (Svalbard) on average 1.8 degrees Celsius were measured as of May 2018.
