This chart displays the distribution of information sources used by journalists in Italy in 2016. According to survey results, 79 percent of journalists were using direct sources in their daily work, while 72 percent of them were gathering information through press releases. Among all the available sources, Facebook was consulted by 47 percent of journalist, which was 11 percent more in comparison with Twitter (36 percent).
