Training industry extent of outsourcing in all companies U.S. 2023
In the United States in 2023, companies in the training industry were asked to report on their outsourcing activities. A total of 51 percent of training companies surveyed either partially or fully outsourced workplace training instruction or facilitation that year. Almost no outsourcing is done for learner support training, with 80 percent of training companies stating that they do not outsource this training. No custom content development is mostly or completely outsourced.
