This statistic illustrates the number of works with publishing rights sold by Italian publishing houses to European ones in 2018, broken down by country. According to the study, Spanish publishers bought foreign rights for 20.2 percent. This was five times the number of foreign rights purchased by the UK (four percent of titles).
