That year and out of the selected oney, Absolut Vodka and Barolo Serralunga d'Alba Fontanafredda were the most expensive alcoholic beverages offered in the two retailers. In Systembolaget stores, the average price of Absolut Vodka was 239 Swedish kronor, while it was sold for a price of 310.82 Swedish kronor in Vinmonopolet sores.

In Sweden, beverages with an alcohol content higher than 3.5% are only allowed to be sold by Systembolaget.
In Norway, beverages with an alcohol content higher than 4.75% are only allowed to be sold by Vinmonopolet.
