As of the end of 2019, the London headquartered digital bank Revolut had more than 8 million app downloads since incorporation. As of 2020, Revolut boasted the highest number of customers of any mobile first, app-based bank in Europe. If the current speed of which they have been able to attract customers continues, Revolut will likely surpass 16 million customers by the end of 2020.
