The statistic represents the concern levels which respondents had for various threats to IT security in the 12 months preceding the date of the survey as well as the following 12 to 18 months. According to the survey, 41 percent of respondents were concerned about data loss and/or destruction in the following 12 to 18 months while 35 percent perceived the theft of corporate as well as personal information by outsiders and insiders in the prior 12 months as a major or critical threat.
