This statistic shows the answers to the following survey question "What do you think are the most pressing challenges the world is currently facing?" As of 2017, 73 percent of respondents indicated terrorism is among the most pressing challenges the world is currently facing. Approximately two thirds of respondents found that climate change was also an important global pressing challenge currently. Less than half would consider caring for an ageing population, access to healthcare and economic growth and job creation being in their top five of most pressing challenges to the world.
