Italy: online and offline book shopping in 2017, by age group
This statistic illustrates the distribution of paper books purchasing channels in Italy in 2017, broken down by customers’ age group. According to the survey results, individuals between 18 and 24 years were the most active consumers, as 84 percent of them shopped at stationary bookstores and 44 percent purchased the paper books online. 30 percent of respondents between 45 and 54 years bought books on the internet.
