The elderly generation, consumed alcohol more often that younger Norwegians. 57 times in the past 12 months was the average of people aged 65 to 79 years, while the age group of 35 to 44-year-olds consumed alcohol 40 times and 16 to 24-year-olds consumed alcohol 28 times in the past 12 months.
