This statistic displays the share of people buying Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) gifts via a mobile phone in the Netherlands from 2013 to 2017. In the period surveyed, the importance of mobile e-commerce increased considerably. In 2013, only five percent of the respondents said to have bought or planning to buy one or more Sinterklaas gifts via their mobile phone. By 2017, this had increased to nearly twenty percent of the respondents.
