Share of people that do not often carry cash in selected European countries 2017
The statistic displays the finding of a 2017 survey that questioned the need of cash in today's society across thirteen countries in Europe. Germany remains the most reliant country in Europe on having cash as a means with only ten percent of respondents saying that they either "not often" or "almost never" have cash on them. On the other hand 35 percent of French respondents rarely carry cash with them.
