Revenue of the pharmaceutical group Bracco in 2016, by business unit

In 2016, the Italian pharmaceutical company Bracco, generated most of its revenues due to the business unit Bracco imaging, which is the unit dedicated to medical imaging. Besides Bracco Imaging, there are other two units: Acist Medical Systems and Centro Diagnostico Italiano (Italian Diagnostic Centre). The first one is specialized in contrast agents and cardiology advanced medical devices, whereas the latter is an outpatient clinic providing prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation services.

In 2020, Bracco was the fourth Italian pharmaceutical firm based on revenue. Moreover, in 2019 the company was among the leading Italian manufacturers of chemical products in terms of both sales and production value.

Bracco worldwide

Bracco is a multinational company and most of its revenue come from abroad. As a matter of fact, in 2020, the revenue generated by the group in Europe amounted to 477 million euros, whereas the earnings in North America reached 701 million euros.
