Survey on favorite cheeses in the Nordic countries in 2015
This statistic shows the result of a survey on the favorite cheeses in the Nordic countries in 2015. With a share of 31 percent, the majority of Danes stated to prefer the domestic Danbo cheese. Second ranked Brie, with a share of 21 percent of respondents. In Sweden, Brie was the favorite type of cheese, as 27 percent stated to love the soft cow's-milk product. Norwegians stick to their own products and voted Jarlsberg as their number one cheese and Brunost (brown cheese) as their number two. With shares of over 30 percent each, Finns prefer Emmental and Edam cheese.
