The average Rai digital audience in Italy grew steadily between 2016 and 2020, moving from 6.8 million users in the first half of 2016 to 16.4 million unique users in the first half of 2020. In the first semester of 2020, in particular, a big increase was reported for the mobile audience, which rose to 11.7 million users.
