According to the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea, the accumulation of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere accounts for two-thirds of the increase in the greenhouse effect induced by human activities ( combustion of gas, oil, deforestation ...). The current CO2 emissions will have an impact on atmospheric concentrations and global temperature for decades, because its lifespan in the atmosphere is of the order of a hundred years.
