Share of automotive exports in France's total goods exports 2012-2020
In 2020, the automotive sector accounted for around 10 percent of France's total goods exports. This was a drop of 0.3 percentage points year-over-year, due to a lack of automotive sector growth and slowdown in car demand worldwide in 2020. The largest share of automotive exports was recorded in 2017, when it reached just under 11 percent of the total goods exports.
