Reasons for not paying for local news in the U.S. 2024

During a survey conducted in the United States in early 2024, it was found that the main reason for not paying for local news was the abundance of alternative free sources of such news. According to 41 percent of respondents, another reason not to pay was that they were not interested in local news. All in all, only 15 percent of respondents in that survey said they paid for local news.
