Nurses per 1,000 inhabitants in Mexico 2006-2021
In 2021, Mexico had approximately 2.94 practicing nurses per 1,000 inhabitants, up from 2.91 nurses per 1,000 people reported a year earlier. Despite a slight decrease in 2019, this figure has been increasing since 2006, when there were 2.23 nurses per every 1,000 people. During the last year depicted, the number of physicians working in Mexico reached around 324,290 professionals.
