In 2017, approximately one-third of the Sinterklaas presents were bought via the internet in the Netherlands. Younger people bought relatively many of their presents online. Respondents in their forties had the highest score, with over 40 percent of their presents. Respondents in their seventies bought 22 percent of the presents online.
