This statistic displays the online and offline consumer food shopping behavior in Italy in 2016. According to survey results, fresh food was bought mostly at grocery store by more than a half of respondents, while only 18 percent of them purchased it more often online. Packaged food consumption occurred online as often as offline for 30 percent of respondents, while wine and other alcoholic beverage were purchased mostly online by 21 percent of individuals.
