This statistic shows the proportion of individuals who did not purchase online due to trust concerns about receiving and returning goods, or who were concerned about complaints and redress, in France from 2006 to 2015. It reveals that five percent of French individuals did not place an order online for these reasons in 2015. In 2017 up to 2019, that figure lost two percent meaning that three percent of e-shoppers did not order anyhting online for those reasons.

Data given are based on the annual Eurostat Model Questionnaires on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in households and by individuals. The aim of the European ICT usage surveys is to collect and disseminate harmonised and comparable information on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in enterprises and e-commerce at European level.
Data coverage corresponds to code I_NBOTH, I_NBCARD, I_NBTRCM, I_NBPSC, I_NBSR, I_NBSKL, I_NBSHAB of INDIC_IS (Information Society Indicators).
