This statistic illustrates Italian adults' opinion on the meaning of Carnival in 2018. According to the study, for a quarter of respondents (25.2 percent) Carnival represented mainly a children's holiday, while for about 22 percent of respondents it was a day like any other. By contrast, about three percent of adults saw Carnival as an opportunity to dress up.
