This statistic shows the total number of fixed network accesses installed in Spain in 2021, by type of technology. Although copper pair technology continued leading the market that year, the new Generation Access Networks (NGA), which includes FTTH, FTTN and HFC (DOCSIS 3.0), experienced a clear market growth to detriment of the first one. At this stage, 2021 concluded with nearly 68 million FFTH installed accesses, whereas copper pair accesses dropped under 11 million.
