This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of September 2017. The survey’s aim was to find out investors’ attitudes towards environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria and their inclination to carry out socially responsible investments (SRI). Particularly, in the given statistic, Italian retail investors were asked insofar a company's reputation was important in the investment decision process. As of the survey period, 56 percent of the interviewed investors stated that the company's reputation was very relevant to them, whereas for eight percent of respondents this aspect was considered less relevant.
