This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the level of trust in the European Union among Italians, from 2010 to 2017. According to data, in 2015 more than half of respondents stated that their trust in the European Union decreased within the last year and only 5 percent of the interviewees declared that they trust in united Europe more than before. As of 2017, 40 percent of individuals affirmed that they have less confidence in the EU than before.
