This statistic presents the main reasons given by French people to end or negotiate one of their insurance contracts in 2016. Over this period, more than 60 percent of respondents said that paying less was one of the main reason.
The Hamon Act allows consumers to cancel their vehicle or house insurance provider at any date. The rule applies to contracts signed or renewed after January 1, 2015.
