Market share of Smart cars in the Netherlands 1998-2020
Smart is a vehicle division of the German automobile group and manufacturer Daimler AG and was originally founded in 1994. As of September 2020, Smart held just under 0.05 percent of the Dutch automobile market, while in the previous year this figure had been around 0.05 percent higher, at 0.1 percent. The largest market share of Smart in the 1998 to 2020 time period in the Netherlands was seen in 2002, when Smart held a 0.59 percentage in the Dutch automobile market. The smallest market share in this time period was seen in 2013, when Smart held a 0.08 percent market share.
