In 2020, the share of part-time employees over total employees in Italy was equal to approximately 18.5 percent. This statistic shows how this figure varied across the different Italian regions. According to data, the highest percentage of part-time employees in the period under consideration (22.1 percent) was registered in Trentino-South Tyrol. On the other hand, Basilicata was the region with the lowest share of part-time workers (roughly 16.6 percent).
