The room occupancy of hotels in Iceland bounced back to nearly 70 percent in 2023, after having dropped due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the previous two years. The annual hotel room occupancy in the Nordic country peaked in 2017 and 2018 at above 70 percent.
