The rate of voluntary pregnancy terminations among women under 20 years in Spain has seen an overall decrease in recent years. In 2022, the autonomous community with the highest number of abortions performed in women that age was Andalusia, with 2,240 procedures. Catalonia followed, with 2,187 abortions.
