This statistic shows the year-on-year growth of each of the components of tourist demand in the Canary Islands in 2016. That year gross capital or investment formation increased by almost 4% over the previous year, behind tourist consumption foreigners and of non-resident Spaniards in the archipelago.

The study was carried out thanks to data provided by the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), the National Statistical Institute of Spain (INE) and Turespaña.
