The data correspond to estimates of the Tourism Survey of residents of the National Statistics Institute of Spain. Since February 2015, this continues the Statistics of tourist movements of the Spanish (Familitur) of the General Subdirectorate of Knowledge and Tourism Studies of Spain.
* Travel to places outside the usual residence environment, for any reason, that involve at least one overnight stay and a duration of less than one year.
** Shopping tourism, trips to the school, other trips for education and training, health, religious reasons, business incentive trips and other trips for personal reasons not included in the other categories.
